Contractor reports for fiber installation projects
If you install for a telco or a main contractor, they want to know what was done, when, and whether it was within the SLA. FiberAdmin builds that report from the work orders themselves, so there is no separate spreadsheet to keep up to date.
Contractors, projects and SLA targets
Add each company that sends you work, with contact details and an SLA target in days. Group their work into projects and archive a project when it ends. Clients imported or created for a contractor carry the contractor and project with them, and so do the work orders you create for those clients. Each job’s SLA clock starts on the day the job is created.
What the report contains
For each project, the report shows the number of customers and how many jobs are completed, awaiting review, scheduled, in progress, not assigned or could not be completed. It shows the SLA target and the number of breaches, and lists every job with its status, date, result, failure reason, materials used, extra services and an SLA flag. Services are priced from your own service catalogue and added up.
A link instead of an attachment
Share a project report as a view-only link. The contractor opens it in a browser without an account and sees the totals, the SLA figures and a job table with number, date, status, SLA flag and materials used. Customer names, notes, results and prices are left out of the shared view. Links expire after seven days and can be regenerated or revoked at any time.
Reports for your own team
Besides the contractor view, the reports section covers jobs over a date range with a jobs-per-day chart, output per crew and per technician, average time on site, material usage and people. Reports can be exported to CSV or printed from the browser. Work orders close to their SLA deadline are flagged as at risk, so you can act before a breach shows up in the report.
How it works
- 1Add the contractor with its SLA target in days, then create a project.
- 2Import or add the contractor’s customers and link them to the project.
- 3Create and complete the work orders as usual.
- 4Open the project report to check totals, breaches and services.
- 5Export to CSV or send the contractor a view-only link.
Questions
Does the contractor need a FiberAdmin account?
No. The shared link opens in any browser. It is view-only and stops working after seven days, or earlier if you revoke it.
Can the contractor see our prices or customer details?
No. The shared view shows totals, SLA figures and the job list with number, date, status and materials used. Customer names, notes, results, photos and service prices stay inside FiberAdmin.
How is the SLA calculated?
Each contractor has a target number of days. A job breaches the SLA if it isn’t completed within that many days of being created, and it is flagged as at risk when two days or fewer remain.
Can I export the report as PDF or Excel?
Reports export to CSV, which opens in Excel, and can be printed or saved as PDF from the browser’s print dialog. There is no separate PDF generator.
